8 Months old; I can't believe it. He is getting more and more personality. He is completely aware of his surroundings and always knows when there is a new toy in the area. Crawling is fun and I hope he continues to do it for a while, I am not ready to chase him around.

Well, he has mastered the all fours crawling technique. This actually happened last month, but I wasn't feeling inspired to blog too much. Baby proofing is an ongoing chore now that he is so quick.

Cale's New Favorite Toy
It's a bird, It's a plane...no, It's Cale pushing his high chair all around the house. We have determined that Cale only crawls in order to get some place that he can pull himself up to a standing position. He has figured out that his high chair is the best of both worlds. He gets under it, stands up and pushes it wherever he wants to go. He has to stop periodically to rest or after running into something. He is not so great at reverse.

More Track and Field
I thought it fitting to put my jumpers on the blog being that Cale spends so much time with them. You can see they have quite the personality as Jay pretends to pick Cale's nose.
Here We Go Again....
Cale is working on his top two teeth. He has all the signs...swollen gums, drool, and of coarse chewing on his favorite teething item, ME! He is actually a lot more gentle than he looks, at least with the biting part. I usually don't even see it coming. One minute he is my sweet little boy wanting to be picked up, and the next he is grabbing my hair or the back of my neck pulling me towards his mouth.

This is the most common Cale pose. He will pull up on ANYTHING, even the 15month old in the nursery at church. If it is higher than the ground than it is fair game to use to stand up!

At first sight it looks like he is going to cry. This is really his new version of Blue Steal.

He is enjoying the Museum a lot more now that he is mobile.
